GOVERNMENT SCHOLORSHIPS
The Ministry of Education oversees the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP), which provides funding to Indian students wishing to enrol in graduate programs in Commonwealth nations.
The Department of Science and Technology offers the INSPIRE Scholarship, which helps students attend reputable foreign universities to pursue bachelor's and master's degrees in the natural and basic sciences.
The Raman-Charpak Fellowship is available to Indian and French students who wish to pursue doctoral or postdoctoral research in their respective nations. It is the result of a collaboration between the two countries.
MEA Scholarship: Children of Indian employees serving in foreign missions as well as those of private employers, including Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), are eligible to apply for scholarships from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
Scholarships from the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR): The ICCR offers financial aid to foreign students to study a range of subjects in India, as well as financial aid to Indian students to study overseas.
GREAT Scholarships: To assist Indian students pursuing postgraduate studies in the UK, the UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) administers GREAT Scholarships.
AICTE Pragati Scholarship: Female students pursuing technical education courses overseas are eligible to apply for scholarships from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
