SCHOLORSHIPS IN SWITZERLAND

  • Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships: Available to international postgraduate researchers and artists, these are sponsored by the Swiss government. They pay for health insurance, tuition, a monthly allowance, and other things.

  • Scholarships from Swiss Universities: A number of Swiss universities provide master's and doctoral level scholarships to foreign students. These grants may be awarded on the basis of need or merit.

  • The ETH Zurich Excellence Scholarship is given to deserving students who are studying for a master's degree in Switzerland. The scholarship pays for living and educational costs.

  • University of Geneva Excellence Master's Fellowships: This program provides financial aid to deserving students who are enrolling in the University of Geneva's Master's program.

  • Excellence Fellowships at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL): International students wishing to apply for a master's program can receive excellence fellowships from EPFL.

  • Private Foundations and Organizations: A number of private foundations and organizations in Switzerland provide scholarships to students from other countries, frequently on the basis of particular study areas or research initiatives.
